Trine 2 Director's Cut

Positive Negative Just as beautiful and enchanting as ever Good puzzles with multiple solutions Takes forever to download because it takes up 2 gigabytes Does not support the new Pro Controller (yet)
We described Trine 2 as fabulously beautiful, flawlessly and terrific enjoyable, when we looked at the first release for PS3, PC and Xbox360 last year. Now there is a new version for the Wii U with a little extra content plastered on, and we are actually still quite positive.
Do you know the game Lost Vikings in 1992, do you know roughly what Trine is about. There are three very different characters, each with different abilities kartondoboz that you use to get through the traditional, two-dimensional platform courts. There is a thief Zoya who can shoot a bow and arrow, and pull themselves up with rope and spider. The knight Pontius kartondoboz has a shield, a sword and a giant hammer that can be used to smash the walls and remove large stones. Last, there Amadeus the wizard who can conjure platforms or boxes forward or move things with magic.
Along the way, you can switch between the three characters, or play three together. Their different abilities to be fully exploited if you want to find all the secrets on the runways. If you collect enough of the little blue balls that are stored in various nooks and crannies, so you can put them into upgrades and new abilities for heroes. This gives a little touch of role-playing, and promises what was otherwise a well-executed platform game with puzzles scattered to a masterful blend that is also fun to carry out the second and third time. Another nice touch is that even if the three characters are so vastly different, many of the puzzles kartondoboz solved in more than one way, so you have no choice.
The first thing you notice about Trine 2 though is how incredibly beautiful the game is. Though the gameplay is "flat", there are incredibly much depth in the world it takes place in. The backgrounds are colorful and detailed, and many of your surroundings, you can interact with. It is a joy to watch, both on television and on the small screen that is on gamepadden.
The game offers many different ways to manage on. First of all, there is a special game pad controller that comes with the Wii U console. Here you can use the touch screen, for example, to conjure platforms emerged as Amadeus, but you have also buttons that are better at controlling Pontius. You can also play with the Wiimote and Nunchuck, if you have such a pair, which allows you to aim Zoya arrows with the Wiimote. Last but not least, you have the opportunity to play with a "normal" controller if you're into that sort of thing. It must, however, be a Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro for Wii. For some obscure kartondoboz reason, the Wii U Pro Controller - that is the new controller for Wii U that does not have a built-in screen - can not be used at time of writing. It may come in an update to the game later, but our game did not have the opportunity and it was not mentioned in the digital manual that comes with the download.
In addition to the game that was released in 2011, includes Director's Cut also the optional expansion Goblin Menace, which dishes up a bit on our only criticism from the first release, that the game is simply kartondoboz too short. There are also some additional content specifically for the Wii U version. You see also that Trine 2 Director's Cut is much cheaper than most of the launch titles for the Wii U, its appears just, even more so as one of the very best purchase for the machine.
