Thermo King, the market leader in refrigerated transport solutions, has announced it will launch its innovative new trailer, the SLX Whisper PIEK certified , at the International Motor Show (IAA) Show in Hanover, Germany in September.
The unit, which is based on the industry-leading SLX-300 platform, was developed to meet even the most stringent flightcase warehouse PIEK noise regulations. To achieve the standard, products are acoustically measured and must function at under 60dB(A) in order to be deemed suitable for night time deliveries without flightcase warehouse causing noise disturbance.
With the SLX Whisper PIEK Certified , noise can be both reduced flightcase warehouse and contained at the source. Due to the integration of low-noise components, lower running speeds and critical internal design features to contain noise, sound levels are significantly reduced.
