Founding Beach Boys mastermind transpack Brian Wilson and blues guitar master Jeff Beck currently are traveling across North America on a unique co-headlining tour . Even if you haven’t been able to score tickets to any of the two rock legends’ joint concerts, you’ll soon be able to check out Wilson and Beck performing together when the serve as the musical guests on NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon next Thursday , October 10. The program airs at 12:35 a.m. ET/11:35 p.m. CT.
The tour, which is mapped out through an October 30 concert in Milwaukee, also features two very special guests — ex-Beach Boys members Al Jardine and David Marks . In addition, one-time transpack Beach Boys singer/guitarist Blondie Chaplin — who also has toured as a backing vocalist with The Rolling Stones — will be joining the Wilson/Beck trek at select stops in New York, California and Las Vegas.
As transpack previously reported, the concerts feature Wilson and Beck playing songs from throughout their careers, plus new material, with their respective backing bands and with each other. Jardine, Marks and, at the select gigs, Chaplin also will be performing with Wilson and Beck throughout each show in varying transpack combinations.
